The “Stories of Bangsamoro” launched its Photo Exhibit Launch on December 8, 2015 (Tuesday) at the Veneto Conference Room, Torre Venezia Hotel, #170 Timog corner Scout Santiago Street, Quezon City from 9:00am to 12:00nn.

With the  objective to promote understanding and appreciation of the Bangsamoro history and culture, the project will establish a safe space for multi-cultural dialogue where preconceived notions and biases can be discussed and understood in an atmosphere of openness and mutual respect.

” Culling stories from Filipino Muslims around the country, Stories of Bangsamoro started in social media, specifically with a Facebook page. By presenting self-images, told in their own words, of our Muslim brothers and sisters, the initiative hopes to help eradicate prevailing prejudice against the Bangsamoro people. It culminates with a forum and photo exhibit that aims to promote understanding and appreciation of Bangsamoro history and culture. The project likewise would like to establish a safe space for multi-cultural dialogue where preconceived notions and biases can be discussed and understood in an atmosphere of openness and mutual respect.”
